Our Dept of Obstetrics & Gynaecology in Jaipuria Hospital was linked with RUHS-CMS since Feb -2014. Our department consists of 2 units with 6 faculty members (1 Professor, 1 Associate Professor and 4 Assistant Professors) 3 senior residents and 6 medical officers.
Our department is equipped with facilities of 24 hrs emergency services including management of high risk pregnancy, normal delivery, caesarean section, screening and early diagnosis of cervical cancer and through pap smear and colposcopy, basic management of infertility and family planning services. We have specialized clinics of infertility (1 day/week), cancer clinic (1 day /week), family welfare clinic (6 day /week ), STD clinic (1 day /week). On an average 40,000 out patient and 7000 in patient are treated per year. Undergraduate MBBS students (100 admission per year) are taught through bed side clinical classes, small group demonstration and theory lectures in addition to observation training of operative techniques in operation theatre. They are posted in rotation in labour room and wards.
D.N.B. post graduate courses has been started in our department since July 2016.
