Out-Patient Services

Patient care services include General Surgical OPD on all seven days of the week, comprehensive bariatric and Metabolic surgery clinics on Mondays , breast care clinic on every Tuesdays and a multidisciplinary cancer care and follow up clinic on every Thursday. An average of 100 patients are enrolled per day in the surgery OPD, out of which about 15 admissions are made daily. Annually about 1200 major and 3000 minor surgical procedures are performed. The range of surgical services provided by the department include Advance laparoscopic Surgery , Bariatric surgery , cancer surgery, gastrointestinal surgery, breast and endocrine surgery and Regular minimally invasive surgery, in addition to taking care of patients with chronic ulcers and wound . All type of surgical emergencies are also managed by the department. Burn patients are also dealt by dedicated team of doctors.

Department is also performing reasonable work in super-specialties like urology, pediatric surgery, plastic and reconstructive surgery.
