The Department of Pharmacology was started in 2014. Since then there is a gradual increase in research activities apart from the regular teaching activities. This research may be in the form of faculty research projects, postgraduate dissertation work, PhD thesis work and undergraduate research projects and may involve human or animal subjects. The Adverse Drug Reaction Monitoring Centre, under the Pharmacovigilance Programme of India (PvPI), is going to be started in the department soon.
